When you subscribe, payment information is collected and processed by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status. We do not store complete credit card numbers on our servers.

1.3 Loan and Borrower Data

When you use the Service, you may input:

• Borrower names and contact information
• Loan amounts and property addresses
• Notes and reminders
• Pipeline stage information

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store this information and for complying with applicable privacy laws regarding any personal information you input.

1.4 Usage Information

We automatically collect:

• Activity logs (actions taken within the Service)
• Feature usage patterns
• Error logs for troubleshooting

1.5 Analytics Data

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect personal information. Plausible collects anonymous, aggregate data such as page views, referral sources, and general geographic location (country-level only).

3.3 Mailgun

3.4 Sentry

3.5 Plausible Analytics

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted, including:

• Your account information
• All loans, notes, and reminders
• Activity logs

Some information may be retained in our backups for a limited period and in anonymized, aggregate form for analytics purposes.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Encryption of data at rest
• Secure password hashing
• Regular security assessments
• Access controls limiting employee access to user data

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies

LoanSignal uses only essential cookies required for the Service to function, such as session cookies for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

7. Your Rights

7.1 Access and Portability

You can access your data at any time through the Service. You may export your loan data using the Service's export functionality.

7.2 Correction

You can update your account information and loan data directly through the Service.

7.3 Deletion

7.4 California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

8. Do Not Track

We do not track users across third-party websites. Our analytics provider (Plausible) does not use cookies or track individual users.

9. Children's Privacy

LoanSignal is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will delete that information promptly.

10. International Users

LoanSignal is operated in the United States and intended for users in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
